Garments for every ward

The Phlebo Press® systems work with garments for the lower leg (Calf), the lower with upper leg (Calf & Thigh) and the lower leg with foot. Side-specific versions for right and left make correct application easier for nursing staff and keep the hoses guided between the legs — even when patients are repositioned.

For clinical use we carry three single-use garments:

  • Calf garment (lower leg)
  • Calf & Thigh garment
  • Calf & Foot garment (lower leg with foot)

All compression garments are cross-device compatible. Which device and garment make sense in a given case is something we clarify in a consultation — based on indication and how often they are used on your ward.

Available sizes and the exact sizing table are provided with the data sheet so the selection fits the patient.

What “single use” means in clinical practice

“Single use” means patient-specific: one garment accompanies a single patient throughout the entire treatment — with longer courses lasting weeks, it remains the same garment. It is removed for care and repositioning and then reapplied; it is not reprocessed for other patients. At the end of treatment or on discharge it is disposed of.

  • One garment per patient — across the whole course of treatment, not swapped between patients.
  • Guaranteed availability — warehouse in Hesse, planned resupply, no “currently unavailable”.
  • Urgent delivery possible for short-notice demand.
  • Several ordering channels — telephone, e-mail, on request via an ordering account.

The manufacturer's instructions for use (Mego Afek, L98106D7-EU-H) are authoritative for application, hygiene and disposal of the garments. We provide the binding application and reprocessing notes with the data sheet.
